CZ132 is a leaded arsenical brass with a duplex structure.
It is a brass alloy specifically developed to provide good levels of resistance to dezincification corrosion, a feature common in hot working brasses. The alloy has good machinability and is easily hot forged. Traditionally CZ132 is used in water fittings which are required to be produced by hot stamping and machining.
CZ132 offers excellent dezincification resistance. With good strength and ductility, the alloy also promotes good machinability and formability. CZ132 brass alloy has high corrosion resistance.
