We are a world-class supplier of engineering raw materials. Our objective is to provide all our customers, from the small machine shop to the large multi-national corporation, a supply path that continuously delivers the highest levels of service, quality and value.
Ideal for both general engineering and decorative applications, we stock a vast range of brass tubes in round, rectangular and square forms. We combine this stock with a variety of tube diameters and wall thickness available to you.
Brass tubing is an easy to work product which offers excellent corrosion resistance; the versatile material provides scope for use in a broad range of engineering applications. Aerospace, power generation and automotive sectors all utilise brass tubing somewhere in the supply chain. Typical applications include plumbing, decorative and even in the manufacture of musical instruments.
We provide extensive tube cutting services throughout our service centre network and main central operations warehouse. We supply your brass tubes to cut lengths, handling diameters from 12mm to 200mm with a minimum wall thickness of 20swg. We process cut lengths to a tolerance of +/- 0.3mm. Our products carry a unique barcode form the moment we receive the raw material which ensures that full traceability is maintained, regardless of whether we process your product or not.
We stock Brass Tube in a variety of grades.
Our knowledgeable staff and resident metallurgists will be pleased to assist you further on any technical topic. Smiths Metal Centres Limited also boasts an in-house UKAS Accredited Testing Laboratory which is unique within the multi-metal and plastic stockholding sector. We believe this underlines our total commitment to quality and our ethos of being the complete service provider.
