BS S525 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel stabilised with niobium.
Available in the cold-rolled or cold rolled and tempered condition, the alloy is suitable for medium-strength components requiring good corrosion resistance and cold workability. With good weldability the alloy has a tensile strength (Rm) 800-1100 N/mm².
S525 aerospace stainless steel sheet is offered with added Niobium and promotes good corrosion resistance and workability. It is a medium strength alloy with good weldability which is supplied in the cold-rolled or cold rolled and tempered condition. We offer a range of in-house processing services which include guillotining.
