We are a world-class supplier of engineering raw materials. Our objective is to provide all our customers, from the small machine shop to the large multi-national corporation, a supply path that continuously delivers the highest levels of service, quality and value.
With excellent high strength, elasticity and outstanding malleability, our bronze tubes are available in a substantial range of grades and sizes. Our tube products come in standard lengths, or we will cut them to size for you courtesy of our in-house processing operations.
Our bronze tube products offer high electrical and thermal conductivity combined with superior corrosion resistance (particularly in saltwater atmospheres). The material is simple to machine, braze, solder and weld and is non-magnetic.
Typical commercial applications of our bronze tubes are in market sectors such as oil, gas and petrochemical, architectural, construction, and heavy industry due to the alloys wear and anti-galling performance characteristics. Bronze is a popular product for use in the production of bearings, bushings and valves.
While we supply bronze tubing in standard lengths, we also process this material in-house with dedicated tube cutting services. We offer these services across our UK service centre network and central warehousing facility. All our engineering material products carry a unique bar code for total traceability while under our care.
We stock Bronze Tube in a variety of grades.
Our knowledgeable staff and resident metallurgists will be pleased to assist you further on any technical topic. Smiths Metal Centres Limited also boasts an in-house UKAS Accredited Testing Laboratory which is unique within the multi-metal and plastic stockholding sector. We believe this underlines our total commitment to quality and our ethos of being the complete service provider.
