T72 - a type 347, niobium stabilised, stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 10% nickel with added copper.
Designed for use in hydraulic applications the product achieves a tensile strength (Rm) of 550/700 N/mm². The alloy benefits from good corrosion resistance and good weldability.
T72 stainless steel alloy offers both good weldability and corrosion resistance. It is a niobium stabilised alloy based on Type 347 stainless. The alloy is designed specifically for use in hydraulic applications such as cooling and furnace tubes.
