We are a world-class supplier of engineering raw materials. Our objective is to provide all our customers, from the small machine shop to the large multi-national corporation, a supply path that continuously delivers the highest levels of service, quality and value.
We stock steel sheet in a variety of grades for general engineering and aerospace. Our range includes a substantial variety of sizes and thicknesses to ensure that we have the right engineering raw material for your project.
Steel is the most commonly used engineering raw material, and our sheet products are no exception. While not as durable as plate, steel sheet finds typical uses in a broad range of engineering applications such as aerospace, automotive, construction, architectural and for any general engineering work. The product is ideal in situations where specific high-performance characteristics are not required as the product is more of an 'all-rounder'. There are better materials on the market to cater for particular engineering applications, but very few have the mass appeal and versatility of steel.
Accurate processing of your sheet material will get you ahead in the engineering and fabrication process, and the ability to receive combined services from a stockholder is essential. Thankfully, we will process your sheet in-house courtesy of our guillotining programme. Most importantly, this makes us a single supply source for all your steel sheet requirements.
We stock Steel Sheet in a variety of grades.

Smiths Metal Centres Limited also boasts an in-house UKAS Accredited Testing Laboratory which is unique within the multi-metal and plastic stockholding sector. We believe this underlines our total commitment to quality and our ethos of being the complete service provider.
