BS S144D is a precipitation hardening stainless steel with high strength and moderate to good corrosion resistance.
The alloy has an identical chemical composition when compared to S143, but a higher tensile strength is achieved as a result of heat treatment.
BS S144 Aerospace Stainless Steel Bar is a high strength alloy which is heat-treated to provide extra tensile strength. The alloy is used extensively in high technology industries such as aerospace and defence. We process your bar products in-house utilising our billeting services.
